Literary Hub, back in 2018, posted photos of the rooms where a dozen famous authors – Agatha Christie, Edith Wharton, Ernest Hemingway, J.G. Ballard, James Baldwin, Julian Barnes, Mark Twain, Ray Bradbury, Roald Dahl, Victor Hugo, and William Faulkner – wrote some of their most famous books.

For a lucky few , the term “starving artist” does not apply. Unfortunately for readers, for most of the owners of these homes, the term “artist” also does not apply. Still, somebody has to live in these swanky places. Might as well be writers!
