We all worry that we spend too much money buying books. Ever wonder, though, how much your book budget compares to, say, your beverage-buying budget?

George Orwell lived in a pre-Starbucks era, but he was a tobacco addict, and one day he decided to calculate his expenses on book-buying to his expenditures on cigarettes.
