What other people are reading is, for some mysterious reason or set of reasons, is oddly fascinating. (One reason some of us aren’t thrilled with the proliferation of Kindles and their ilk: it’s more difficult to catch a glimpse of whatever it is That Other Person is reading.)
One place where other people’s reading (of printed books, anyway) is on public display is the New York subway system. And now there’s a website completely devoted to photos of people reading on the subway.
I defy you not to become at least temporarily absorbed scrolling through the photos at the Underground New York Public Library.
