An Unexpurgated Portrait of Dorian Gray

 

Harvard’s Belnap Press recently published an uncensored version of Oscar Wilde’s only novel,  The Portrait of Dorian Gray. Scholar Brooke Allen’s summary of the tortured history (and initial reception) of Wilde’s 1890 story is here.
