MARBL’s Marvels

Atlanta is home to several libraries that collect specialized materials. Although the collections of these libraries are accessible only to scholars, many of them showcase items in these special collections on their websites and/or in exhibits that are accessible to the public.

One such specialized collection is Emory University’s Manuscripts, Archives and Rare Book Library (MARBL), located on the top floor of Emory’s Woodruff Library.

One of MARBL’s most recent purchases is a collection of 4,000 Victorian-era paperbacks.

You can browse some of MARBL’s already-digitized collections here.
