If you’ve ever thought about getting around to reading Samuel Pepys’ famous diary, there’s now another way to do that very thing without having to buy or borrow a printed copy. You can sign up to read an entry a day from a blog created for this purpose.
The Diary of Samuel Pepys is definitely a value-added Internet site: the bloggers have embeded in the diary’s text hyperlinks to further information about and illustrations of the various people, places, and things Pepys mentions. Sort of a mini-Wikipedia for All Things Pepys!
And of course, if you get hooked, you can use the blog’s archvies to “catch up” to where you’ve plunged in.
